ICTs for Development for Communities

Maru trained over 200 unemployed youth from Eastern Cape and Gauteng Provinces. The youth did not pay for anything, the implementation of this project was for giving back to the community. Lunch, training materials were provided and certificates were issued after the training.

ICTs for Development Kruger National Park

In partnership with Resource Africa and Southern Africa Wildlife College, Maru implemented an Enterprise Development Programme for communities around Kruger National Park. Our role was to design and implement ICTs for development to these communities. This involved training and issuing of computers to Enterprises developed under this program. The program run for two years i.e. 2012 to 2014

End User Computer Training for Small Businesses around Sabi Sand Game Reserve

In partnership with Sabi Sand Pfunanani Trust, Buffelshoek Trust and and The University of Johannesburg, we implemented an Enterprise Development Programme for communities around Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Our role was to design and implement End User Computer Training, Distribution of iPads and Business mentorship to project beneficiaries. The program run for two years i.e. 2015 to 2016
